Creating a website to be the face of your business is important. At BLR we strive to create the exact look and feel you want to portray to everyone on the internet. There are 5 steps to a proper creation of a website. 

 

Step #1: Domain Name Registration...

First you need a web name ... www.YourNewBusiness.com! BLR will help you decide on the best domain name for your business or organization, and will submit the forms necessary to registering your new name. We partner with Network Solutions to give your business the best possible company to host your domain. When you purchase a domain name from Network Solutions and choose to host with them, your domain purchase is free.

Already have a domain name? We can arrange for all the DNS changes and other technical, behind-the-scenes business so you don't have to deal with it. Each case is unique, and the amount of time needed to get things in order will vary. The first 15 minutes of domain name services is free; any additional time required will be charged at the usual $60 hourly rate.

 

Step #2: Website Design...

Here at BLR Computer Connections, we strive to produce web sites that are creative, colorful, and user-friendly. And we can do it all from start to finish – research, composition, custom buttons & banners, etc. We'll create a site that will reflect your company's image and work easily and efficiently for your clients.

We offer the following elements for your site ...

• FTP upload to your server space
• third-party or stand-alone e-commerce setup
• site search feature
• digital photography
• database design and integration
• fast turnaround on updates and enhancements

And whatever services you require for your site, we'll do it all at the low flat rate of $60/hour.

Please note that we DO NOT create web sites that clients may then take over and update themselves. Our updates are done quickly and efficiently, and are charged at the usual hourly rate. You are billed for the actual minutes spent on the work -- we DO NOT round up to the nearest hour or half-hour.

 

Step #3: Web Hosting...

Here at BLR we don't try to charge the client extra money for hosting. We get you in touch with Network Solutions directly, and have you the client choose which package is best for your budget. BLR would be glad to help assist you in this decision, but don't feel a need to up-charge to get your new website online. 

Already have a hosting company? Simply provide the information we'll need to utilize your account (username, password, and FTP host address) and we'll do the rest. Should there be any problems necessitating extensive setup or tech support, the first 15 minutes of setup services is free; any additional time required will be charged at the usual $55 hourly rate.

 

Step #4:  Search Engine Submission & Registration...

Once your site is completed and is "out there" on the hosting servers, it's time to announce your business or organization to the Internet community. BLR will add META tags - special html code - to your site that's compliant with search engine submission criteria.

We will then register your site with such major free search engines and indexes as Alta Vista, DMOZ (Open Directory Project), Google, and MSN.

BLR will perform this initial registration service and resubmissions at the usual hourly rate. Please note that we cannot guarantee inclusion in any free search engine or index. Guaranteed listings are available through such companies as Yahoo! and Google if you opt for a paid listing.

 

Step #5: Web Site Maintenance...

Don't let your web site gather dust! Nothing's worse than a web site with outdated information, links that don't work, and the "same old info" on page one. Let BLR handle your site maintenance quickly and efficiently. Just e-mail us your updates and we'll see that your new info is posted in a timely manner. You'll be certain to draw repeat customers by keeping your web site fresh. No special events or meetings coming up? How about some new colors, "Cool New Links" or  fresh FAQs for your visitors to read? How about new testimonials to catch a new viewers eye!

We can get your website on the first page of a major search engine. The fee varies but the benefit is getting your website seen before hundreds of like sites, for the best possible chance of landing a client.

Fee #1: $2800 for 5 top 10 listings on the major search engines. 20 keywords associated with your site.
Fee #2: $3800 for 10 top 10 listings on the major search engines. 30 keywords associated with your site.

Pay-Per-Click:
We can get your website to appear on the top of right side of major search engines, only when someone actually clicks on your link, does your pay-per-click counter subtract from you pre-allotted purchase.

Fee: $250/month for 100 pay per click links on a major search engine.
